Crystal structure of mixed compound Cu2(D-Ala) (D-Ser)(L-Ser)2
Abstract
The crystal structure of mixed cooper(II) compound Cu2(D-Ala)(D-Ser)(L-Ser)2, that contains the residues of alanine (Ala) and serine (Ser) in proportion 1:3 in its composition, was determined by electron diffraction technique. The crystals belong to triclinic singony. The unit-cell parameters are the following: a=9.83(2) Å, b=9.59(2) Å, c=5.02(1) Å, α=90.0º, β=90.0º, γ=92.4(3)º. The space group P1, Z=1. The structure represents the symbiosis of two structures Cu(D-Ala)(L-Ser) and Cu(D-Ser)(L-Ser), its separate blocks are bound one to another by local elements of symmetry.
