Privatization of the Colombian company of Electrical Interconnection (Isagen) and its connotations in the territory of Antioquia
Abstract
Isagen, Electric Interconnection Company of Colombia, was sold under auction with a single bidder, although initially several parties had been interested in this one. This sale generated great controversy when talking about the future of the company and the energy future of the country, due to the way in which they handled these proposals that had little welcome, both by the country and by several government officials themselves . Many theories emerged and a debate was opened about the pros and cons that would be incurred in the country since the established defense of the interested parties to carry out this operation was sustained in an investment of little productive assets such as the construction of roads For the development of several economic activities, supporting for this, the backwardness in infrastructure that the country suffers today, the product of bad administrations and the exaggerated corruption.
