Abstract
To keep the new collections organized information entities sound, audiovisual, still image, and digital mapping, among others, are used rules that have to be constantly transformed and updated to the demands of the Information Retrieval. The aim of the present work focuses on an alternative strategy to organize information in the digital environment, applicable to any visual aid, which may be used in other information entities. Proposals may circumscribe documents in a general terminology have been termed as audiovisual and digital resources; expressions that have changed due to physical carrier of intellectual and artistic content, and information on units can be found in similar media and digital, whether part of a conversion process or of original creation in the world of bits. Special emphasis is placed on project proposal for the organization of digital audiovisual information, using Dublín Core and description elements outlined in the international code Resource Description and Access (RDA) published in 2010 by the Joint Steering Committee for Development of RDA, for the description of resource attributes and relationships of its partners.
