Abstract | Full Text

Contemporarily, the region (territory) is a specific form of economic organization, reducing uncertainty and risk of entities. It is interpreted as a place of creation of specific forms of coordination of entities’ behaviors, as well as of building innovative capacity of the economy. Article defines the relationships and interrelations existing between the territory and the enterprise. It identifies territorial conditions of building businesses’ competitiveness. It also points the key postulates for regional policy in the field of building supportive entrepreneurship and innovation “milieu” for SMEs.
