Post-Islamic revolution Iran has been hconsidered an unreliable actor. Either because of the country's involvement in conflicts in the Middle East, or because of its ideological and material support to supposedly terrorist organizations. The fact is that the possibility of Iran developing nuclear technology and then transforming it into a process of weapons production makes other players in the international system position themselves with more emphasis on this issue. However, much more than supporting or not Iran, what is at stake is the perspective one has of the international system and the limitation that should be imposed on the actors, including that related to sovereignty.
