New City's integrated Digital Transformation Strategy

Abstract

Abstract: The legal study aims to clarify an effective renaissance approach in achieving the development dimension within the determinants and contents of the national strategy for digital transformation to enhance the national territory, in which is integrated into the national plan for the regional development. In addition, the integrated digital transformation is related specifically to the establishment of the new city within the framework of adopting a more efficient and competitive concept in terms of the city policy and sustainable urban development. Law No. 02-08, relating to the requirements for establishing and preparing new cities, contributed to accomplish an alternative vision to the typical design of cities. Those cities are projects that tend to relieve pressure on the coastal areas to develop the high plateaus and the south areas. Accordingly, the state’s urban policy inevitably proceed to produce new urban fabrics that support the attractiveness of the region. Furthermore, the motives of the state’s urban policy converge mainly with protecting and valuing the environment when launching a city planning project, with the urge to begin transforming those cities into digital poles known by high performance and quality.
