Extensão Rural e Políticas Pro-Market: Evidências Empíricas Sobre a Produção e Comercialização de Leite em Assentamentos do Município de Santana do Livramento/RS

Abstract

The article explores and examines recent experiences on milk production in agrarian reform settlements in the municipality of Santana do Livramento, state of Rio Grande do Sul. The offered empirical content is analyzed from theoretical approaches arising from new developmentalist perspective and pro -market analysis. At the methodological level, the literature and qualitative research are used for the purpose of revealing correspondence between those theoretical approaches advocated and the field study points. The global results show that the pro-market policies are not included in the productive activity studied. In addition, shares of new developmentalist inspiration, with access to the farmers market, are incipient. The lack of public policies of strategic agendas – own the new developmentalism, is demonstrated in the set of categories used.
