Intégrer la division sexuelle du travail au rapport social de travail. Pistes pour l'analyse régulationniste

Abstract

The paper shows that the concept of wage-labor nexus can be usefully enriched with an analysis of gender relations. Based on the example of sustainable work in the hotel industry, we argue that the wage labor nexus would explain more if it included an analysis of how gender power relations inside the firm are intertwined with more classical power relations. Specifically, the intertwining of hierarchical domination and gender relations can be grasped when focusing on the sexual division of labor that follows the introduction of sustainable work inside the firm.
