Emergency care in crush syndrome at the prehospital stage: the patient journey

Abstract

The review provides recommendations on the specifics of the work of health professionals in crush syndrome at the prehospital stage. The features of providing care to the victims released from the rubble are highlighted. Recommendations are given on how to assess the victim, what fluid therapy to use, what other means to apply, recommendations for post-release care and during transportation to a medical facility.
