Research on the tourist activity of seniors is a response to social changes that are taking place in European countries, including Poland. Aging is making seniors tourism an important and crumbling sector of the tourism market. The aim of the research presented in the article was to analyze the tourist activity of the elderly. The research also adopted research problems, which boiled down to determining: the frequency of trips of seniors in Poland, the main reasons for seniors' tourist trips and the ways of organizing these trips. As part of the research, literature analysis was presented and the results of empirical research conducted using a survey among students of the University of the Third Age at Warsaw University of Life Sciences SGGW were presented. Based on the conducted research, the authors indicated the need to stimulate social activity, including the tourism activity of seniors. The respondents willingly participated in organized domestic and foreign trips. In addition, research indicates that seniors preferred long-term trips, i.e. a minimum of 5 days. They willingly used the services of travel agencies, airplane transport and hotel accommodation.
