Exposition « Scott et Zelda Fitzgerald : L’été raphaëlois »

Abstract

This essay focuses on the “Scott et Zelda Fitzgerald : L’été raphaëlois” exhibition, which took place at the archeological museum in Saint-Raphaël from July 12 to September 30, 2019. It deals with the event but also with the American presence on the French Riviera between the wars and with some of the Fitzgeralds’ autobiographical texts which relate their stay there, in particular when Scott was writing The Great Gatsby.
