Intra cortical osteoid osteoma in distal radial metaphysis: A rare case report
Abstract
Background: Osteoid osteoma of the lower end radius is a rare tumour with six reports available in the literature. Case report: A 18-year-old male presented with unexplained dorsal wrist pain. Detailed radiological and histopathological examination confirmed it to be a case of intracortical osteoid osteoma arising from lower end of distal end radius over medial side. Conclusion: Osteoid osteoma should be kept as a differential diagnosis for unexplained wrist pain.
