Ispirazioni dantesche: la Commedia nei poemi di Jacopo Sanvitale e Francesco Scaramuzza
Abstract
In the nineteenth century history of Parma’s literature, Dante’s fortune comes in contact with the occult sciences and it is particularly affected by mesmerism and spiritism. After tracing the historical-cultural coordinates of these two pseudosciences, the essay provides a first survey of two poems which intertwine Dantean influences and paranormal phenomena: La luce eterea by the Count Jacopo Sanvitale and Due canti sulle corporali esistenze dello spirito che fu nell’ultima Dante Allighieri by Francesco Scaramuzza.
