SAVANTUL PETRU UNGUREAN – PERSONALITATE NOTORIE ÎN OENOLOGIE

Abstract

The personality of the correspondent member of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova, hero of Socialist Labor Petru Ungurean, is a part of the palette of renowned scientists of our nation. His undeniable contribution in the fi eld of oenology, wine ecology, wines quality technology with a low redox potential still remains the basic foundation of the wine science and practice from Moldova. The oenological scientifi c school created by mem. cor. of ASM Petru Ungurean, connects personalities of science and practice from Moldova, Russian Federation, Ukraine. On the eve of the anniversary of 120 years since the birth of the famous oenologist (26.08.1894), the scientifi c community brings its homage to high contribution in science and practice of wine; for the establishment of the national scientifi c school of winegrowers and winemakers; for development of one of the most important branches of Moldovan national economy - viticulture and winemaking.
