Dependence in basic activities of daily living in elderly fallers and non-fallers
Abstract
The objective of this study was to identify the influence of level of functional dependence in basic activities of daily living in elderly fallers and non-fallers. 100 subjects were assessed, both genders, with a mean age 71,82 years. The subjects fallers and non-fallers were characterized as independent for activities. In this way, its emphasize the relevance of a criterious evaluation to acting on the promotion elderly health.
