Aiming at problems of complicated wiring, large energy consumption, low overall reliability of the current underground coal mining data acquisition system, an intrinsically safe low power consumption data acquisition system was designed. The system is mainly composed of coordinator and terminal equipment. Based on the XBee3 module, a wireless sensor network with a cluster topology is established. The terminal equipment uses the XBee3 module as the main control unit. The coordinator can perform some functions such as real-time analysis, storage, upload and display of data. The experimental results show that the system can accurately collect the sensor data of underground coal mines. It has the characteristics of long transmission distance, low power consumption, short delay.
