Computer realization of a system for torpedo homing on a vessel path

Abstract

The possibility to replace an existing torpedo homing device by computer components has been analyzed in the paper. The operating principle of the existing device has been presented together with its block-diagram as well as the path of a torpedo guided by homing head signals. The new configuration has introduced, as a synthesis, a new block-diagram of a homing device based on a microcontroller.
