Elements of cohesion in the translation of poetry in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland with the focus on a poem "You are old, Father William"
Abstract
Current theoretic literature dealing with the translation contains a numerous definitions that reflect different understandings and views on this complex activity of the human mind. Translation of literary works for children imposes a translator to a set of difficulties typical for the translation of such genre. The aim of this paper is to determine the elements of cohesion between the English and Serbian versions of the poem "You are old, Father William" in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland written by Lewis Carroll.
