Abstract

This paper investigates into the critical reception of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s The Little Prince in Italy and in France, in relation to the expansion of studies into the author’s life and work since his death up to the present time. In particular, recent developments in Saint-Exupéry’s critical reading are examined with the aim to discuss the enduring charm played by his original and independent profile on 20th century literary scenario.
