The article considers the problem of measuring the torque of electric motors using machine vision technology. It is shown that traditional methods based on the installation of force-measuring sensors on the shaft of an electric motor require complex technological solutions and have limitations regarding the complexity of installation and operating costs. The article discusses the need for new methods of measuring the torque, and also shows the prospects of using machine vision technologies to solve this problem. A method of measuring the torque of electric motors is presented to improve the reliability of measurements, which can provide optimization in the maintenance of measurement systems. A new method of determining rotational loads on the shaft of an electric motor using machine vision is proposed. This method involves image processing using special labels that are placed on the dynamometric element. This approach makes it possible to measure the torque using image processing technologies. The use of a computerized information and measurement system using the machine vision method for measuring the torque of electric motors is proposed. The system has a user interface and allows visualizing the received data. To improve the dynamic characteristics of the system, it is proposed to optimize image processing algorithms, use more powerful computing resources, implement hardware acceleration, and optimize the transmission of the video stream.
