Research on Software Defined Network Application in Optical Transmission Network

Abstract

In order to study the feasibility of software defined network（SDN）application in optical transmission network, the concept and background of SDN were presented, the drivers and issues of the application of SDN in optical transport networks were analyzed, and finally several suggestions for the applications of SDN were proposed.
