În articol este prezentată succint istoria Catedrei Ştiinţe ale Educaţiei de la fondare în anul 1955 şi până în prezent: direcţiile principale de activitate, personalul didactic, activităţi noi apărute în cadrul catedrei şi perspectivele dezvoltării ei.
