As a result of increasing human impact on the natural environment, environmental problems such as natural degradation, climate change, destruction of vegetation, land misuse, and erosion have emerged. The gradual increase in these problems has brought the problem of determining and measuring the human impact on the environment. The Human Influence Index, developed for this purpose, aims to measure the anthropogenic impact on space by using multiple parameters in a defined area. In this study, the intensity and spatial distribution of anthropogenic impact in Denizli province were analyzed by using the Human Influence Index. Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), one of the Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) methods, was used to determine the human impact. As a result of the analysis, 0.3% of Denizli province is under very high, 2% is under high and 4% is under moderate human impact. On the other hand, it was determined that 35% of the province's surface area is under low and 59% is under very low human influence. Consequently, although human influence in Denizli is intense, it has operated in a defined and restricted area.
