Trapezius osteomyocutaneous flap for reconstruction of anterior mandibular defect - A case report
Abstract
Reconstruction of the anterior mandibular segment after complex ablative surgery remains a challenge to the head and neck surgeons. Restoring form and function after anterior segmental mandibulectomy is the most important for the rehabilitation of these patients. The trapezius osteomyocutaneous flap (TOF) serves as an option of reconstruction that is simple and reliable with excellent outcome. We report our experience with TOF in our centre.
