The diversity of religions within families is a phenomenon evident in Indonesia. According to data collected from 2005 to July 2023, the Indonesian Conference on Religion & Peace (ICRP) recorded 1,655 interfaith marriages. However, precise statistical data regarding the total number of interfaith families in Indonesia remains unknown. The presence of differing beliefs within a family can lead to either harmony or conflict. This study's research question investigates how interfaith families interpret the differences in beliefs occurring within their families. A descriptive qualitative research method was used, employing the social construction theory by Peter L. Berger and Thomas Luckmann. Social construction involves assigning meaning to one's environment and external aspects. The researcher gathered data through interviews and observations with families that have religious differences. The results of this study indicate that constructing harmony in families with different religions involves members accepting differences, engaging in their respective religious activities without interfering with others, and respecting each family member's embraced religion.
