Generación de capital social en la gerencia de proyectos de economía creativa arquitectónica en Colombia
Abstract
A Social Architectural Creative Economy project is understood, as part of this research, as one that uses architecture creatively within a vulnerable society, with the aim of generating urban improvement and a positive difference in the community. Therefore, they aim to generate a favorable transformation in a given community so that, in turn, it can then reverse a similar effect in its territory. Considering the particularities of this type of projects, research was conducted to determine the necessary practices for the management of Architectural Creative Economy projects that lead to generating social capital in the community. This study was carried out by reviewing international project management references; in addition, a literature review on the management of social architectural creative economy projects was conducted. Data were collected through interviews and surveys with experts who have participated in the formulation and management of these types of projects in Bogotá, Colombia. Based on this, the study characterized the best management practices applied to social architectural creative economy projects executed in the district. The study identified that community change is generated by building a different perspective on how these projects are led. This change is generated by understanding that vulnerable communities have specific needs that must be taken into account throughout the project lifecycle. The study concludes with a proposal for concrete practices for project managers of these types to facilitate community outreach and empowerment through processes associated with communications management and stakeholder engagement, the implementation of which is differentiated according to the project stages.
