Assessing the position of social capital components in the feasibility of regeneration Ineffectual urban texture (Case study: Akhtarabad informal settlement of Karaj City)
Abstract
Objective: The results of the study explain the significant positive relationship between the components of social capital and the feasibility of regeneration in dysfunctional contexts of Akhtarabad neighborhood of Karaj. Also, the results of the study explain the different levels of influence of social capital components on the feasibility of regeneration in dysfunctional contexts of Akhtarabad neighborhood of Karaj. Methods: The present article is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-analytical in terms of method. A questionnaire method was used to collect information. The statistical population of the present study is the total population of Akhtarabad neighborhood is 13565 and its sample size is 381. To evaluate the role of social capital in the feasibility of urban regeneration, 6 components of social awareness, social trust, social cohesion, social organization, network and social relations and social participation have been used. Smart PLS and SPSS software were used to analyze the findings. To investigate the relationship between research variables, a structural model at a significant level and to evaluate the role of social capital components on the feasibility of regeneration in dysfunctional contexts, a structural model at the factor load level has been used. Results: The findings of the structural model at a significant level show a value of T statistic greater than 2.58 for all effective variables of the research and a significant relationship at the level of 99% between them. The findings of the structural model of the research at the factor load level show that the six components of social cohesion, network and social relations, social participation, social trust, social awareness and social organization, respectively, with a path coefficient of 0.378, 0.376, 0.331, 0.324, 0.234 and 0.198 are effective on the feasibility of urban regeneration in dysfunctional tissues of Akhtarabad neighborhood of Karaj. Conclusion: The results of the study explain the significant positive relationship between the components of social capital and the feasibility of regeneration in dysfunctional contexts of Akhtarabad neighborhood of Karaj. Also, the results of the study explain the different levels of influence of social capital components on the feasibility of regeneration in dysfunctional contexts of Akhtarabad neighborhood of Karaj.
