Present and prospective role of the oceans and ice cover in the world climate
Abstract
In this article I will focus on the role of the ice-covered oceans, particularly the Arctic, because global warming affects the Arctic more than any other part of the world, and the decline in ice extent which this induces has serious feedback effects upon the enire global climate, including that of the non-polar oceans.
