Violence verbale en milieu scolaire : aspects génératifs et fonctionnels

Through the analysis of a sequence selected from a corpus of interactions in Romanian, we tried to clarify some generative and functional aspects of verbal violence in the classroom environment. Our study is based on a complex model (pragma-sociolinguistic) developed by the Groupe de recherche sur la violence verbale. By analysing teacher-pupil(s) and pupil(s)-pupil(s) exchanges in terms of the speech acts they feature (what type of acts with respect to the illocutionary point and direct vs indirect speech acts), we tried to identify the types of verbal violence (fulgurating, polemical) which occur during didactic interactions and to see exactly what triggers them, how they manifest themselves, how they combine, what their goal is.
