The Caribbean Sea is emblematic of the cruise, it is known for its international routes, scenic postcards touting the charms of the region. The analysis of the cruise industry will highlight some limits and contradictions of current development patterns. The product "cruise" has evolved considerably. It’s now the cruise ship itself (temple of consumption and enclave floating) that became the object of the Cruise, the “Destination” of the cruise line. The cruise is part of mass tourism. It’s characterized by its huge boats, rationalization and cost optimization in the context of a market increasingly globalized capital. All data that must be analyzed to understand recent developments in the cruise and repeated challenges to the host territories.
