Anti-collision algorithm is one of key technologies of RFID. This paper proposes a new anti-collision algorithm called InnerQ, based on the Q-algorithm in the EPC Gen2 standard. The proposed algorithm solves the problem of Q value changed frequently and improves the throughput of the system breaking the bottleneck of the ALOHA-based algorithm whose throughput is limited to 36.8%, using the method of reprocessing the collision slots, thus improves the system performance.
