Integrarea comunităților ecovillage în România

Abstract

The main focus of this study is to bring the eco- village concept closer to Romanian communities. Being a growing trend in European and American communities, the ecovillage community represents an alternative way of organizing people’s lives so that it creates sustainable relationships between humans, and between humans and the environment. With a focus on Vultureni community, Cluj county, this study incorporates a successful ecovillage model, together with factors and strategies that enable the creation of social capital and civic capacity
