EDUCATE FOR CITIZENSHIP THROUGH PROJECTS OF EDUCATIONAL INNOVATION
Abstract
This paper presents a conceptual definition of Citizenship Education, while showcasing the situation in contemporary Spanish education policy. From this first approach presents the results of several studies that try to establish links between educational innovation projects and the development of Citizenship Education. These results corroborate the potential of projects of educational innovation as instruments in the service of educational change and the formation of citizens.
