LIFE STYLE IN A MIRROR OF SPATIAL MOBILITY: METHODOLOGY OF GATHERING AND ANALYSIS OF DATA ON CITIZENS MOVEMENTS

Abstract

The purpose of this study is an investigation of patterns of urban and spatial mobility of citizens, as well as the analysis of the relationship of the parameters of daily mobility. Methodology. The article describes the methods, stages and the results of a trial study of social and environmental scripts in the Samara. A number of mathematical procedures for the processing of data on the movement of citizens, which can be used to restore individual and group urban practices through the reconstruction of daily routes. Results. The character of people mobility around the city determines the lifestyle of the citizen and his psychological peculiarity. There are sustainable forms of behavior, which reveal itself in different practices of daily mobility of citizens. Technology development allows studying social mobility through a social and environmental script. Socio-environmental script is common elements of everyday activity of individuals, or daily route of a social group. We defined the concepts of “location”, “place” and “correspondence” as elementary units for the description of individual routes. Practical implications. The results can be applied to analysis of lifestyle and quality of life in different cities.
