La transmission de la gestion du risque dans les écoles supérieures de cirque en France

Colleges of circus art in France currently offer a BA degree level education in Circus Arts. The implementation of this new degree is assured by teachers. By questioning the way they consider the risk-taking in circus activities, we can show that there is a plurality of perceptions of transmission forms (continuum between formal and non-formal), joining the professional rhetoric debate about the definition of the circus artiste. Nonetheless, it seems that these representations vary less by aesthetic posture than according to career and position in this emerging training sector.
