New relationships and knowledge in a school full-time in rural

This article takes a look at the reality of full time school in the municipality of rural Iaciara, no Goiás State, Brazil. The research covers the daily school and aims to analyze how that institution plans its activities (regular and complementary / workshops), and whether they are articulated with local cultural events. The methods used to collect data from teachers, monitors, parents, administrators and students of the institution, are qualitative in nature, such as interview and questionnaire. Were sought in the concepts of holistic education and the possibilities of educational spaces located in rural areas. At the end, one realizes that subjects participants recognize the extension of the school day as important to the process of teaching and learning and the cultural reality of the region that should be included in daily school life. The investigation revealed the deficiency in the continuing education of teachers and therefore some resistance to glimpse in rural areas, other possibilities of educational spaces.
