New Insight into the Electrochemical CO2 Reduction Reaction: Radical Reactions Govern the Whole Process

Abstract

In present paper, we wish to suggest a new reaction mechanism for the electrochemical reduction of carbon dioxide (CO _2 ). This mechanism can provide a reasonable interpretation to the formation of widely range of products on copper (Cu) catalyst.
