Adverse effect of synthesized Naringenin derivatives investigate with Zebrafish (Danio rerio) embryos

Abstract

New class of Naringenin derivatives was synthesized through esterification of acid chlorides with Naringenin under ambient reaction conditions with good yields. The product was confirmed using NMR and mass spectral techniques. The compounds were treated with zebrafish embryos for find the compounds are how much toxic and non-toxic. Adverse drug effect assessment in zebrafish embryos showed less toxicity towards 3a, more than the other compounds.
