Current status of technical-sports companies in the sector in the Valencian region

Abstract

Abstract Currently, the issue of human resources is producing an impact in Spain and just need to approach the business biography to verify that the sector study of physical activity and sport is a field of scientific and social interest that needs to be investigated. Using a quantitative methodology, in which a descriptive method and a cross sectional survey was carried out and through a standardized interview as a tool for gathering information, results reveal the most significant characteristics found in Valencia Region. The results explain that the people working in physical and sports functions in companies are mostly young men who develop a wide variety of functions, work situations in which there is recruitment and showing a temporary high. The study also reveals that more than half the people will do business with a working week not exceeding four years, and there are people without official certification of physical activity and sport and being the most important personal contacts to find work.
