Reconhecimento, reputação e capital simbólico na Profissão de Informação-Documentação (ID): a investigação necessária

Abstract

Based on the absence of studies on the symbolic capital of the InformationDocumentation profession, ten priority research areas are presented: the study of the impacts of the prizes, the establishment of a taxonomy of the awards, the analysis of reputational processes, the study of the process of awarding prizes and their effects on the candidates, the study of symbolic capital through signaling theory, the study of phaleristic, the study of scientific productivity and its relation to the cycle of researchers/practitioners, the study of award-winning Science-Citizen modalities, and the study of public recognition ceremonies as an integral part of the Field Configuring Event (FCE).
