Efectos de las técnicas de filtrado en la evaluación de un modelo de ciclos económicos reales
Abstract
The purpose of this document is to investigate the determinants of the intra-regionalmultilocation of manufacturing export firms in 2007. For this goal, a dataset at the level of thefirm is used from Proexport and Superintendencia de Sociedades databases, which estimates abivariate logit model that allows us to find the characteristics of manufacturing export firmsthat decide to be located in more than one place in the national territory. The empirical resultsshow that the export firms with a bigger probability of multilocation in Colombia are thosefirms that are big, are not capital-intensive, have high sales, and high leverage.
