Modified combined radiotherapy for cervical cancer in kidney transplant recipient

Abstract

Abstract The management of locally advanced cervical cancer in patients with a pelvic kidney transplant is challenging because standard chemoradiotherapy may increase the risk of ureteral stenosis and obstruction or vascular damage of the graft. In the absence of clear guidelines, these patients should be treated using high‐precision modern radiotherapy technique.
