The aim of this study was to identify and compare the level of moral judgment of students, classified by sex, age and faculty. The sample consisted of 301 male and female students in the first cycle of a public university in Lima, whose ages ranged between 16 and 19 years. The instruments used were a Sociomoral Reflection and a Personal Data Questionnaire. Data were analyzed with the program SPSS 16.0 and the Anova and Scheffe tests. Corresponding to the conventional level of moral judgment the students were mainly in stage 4. No significant differences were found in relation to sex or faculty. Age, on the other hand, had a significant influence.
