REGIONAL CLUSTERS AS A FORM OF TERRITORIAL ARRANGEMENT OF INDUSTRY
Abstract
The article views the theoretical issues of regional cluster investigation as a form of territorial organization of production powers in the market economy. It suggests methods of the cluster-forming enterprises placing and their impact on the development of the regional economic system. The authors present the results of enterprise placing obtained on the basis of: 1) comparative costs method; 2) branch multi-product model. It allows to justify the optimal choice of territorial organization of the production-delivery network of cluster-forming enterprises of petrol chemistry an other leading branches of regional economy.
