Influence of meteorological and hydrological elements on the execution of the River Units' tasks

Abstract

Predicting weather conditions today does not mean just an accurate weather forecast, it is also an important factor in planning the use of the River Units. Meteorological and hydrological elements are not factors that are constantly and equally effective. They affect a continuous sequence of combat actions, both negatively and positively, at different intensities. The application of the multi-criteria decision-making method helps in determining the critical (decisive) meteorological and hydrological elements when making a decision on using the River Units in operations.
