Organic production is a global system for the management of agricultural holdings and the production of foodstuffs that combines the best environmental practices, a high level of biodiversity, the preservation of natural resources, the application of demanding standards in terms of well-being of animals and production method in line with the preference of certain consumers for products obtained using natural substances and processes. Biological inputs are a reality in the field that yield billions of reais in savings, due to the use of biological control and biological nitrogen fixation. The search for sustainable technologies to control pests and diseases, to make plants grow and to fertilize the soil is increasingly growing in the productive sector.
