Kant does not limit to denunce war as one of the worst harms that afflict humanity. He also tries to find it a meaning, from a philosophy of history perspective. He supposes it is part of the misterious designs of Providence. This is one of the most problematic and disturbing aspects of his thinking, usually ignored by those who present the tireless fighter for peace in a simplistic way.
