Exploring the structure and function of the brain is the most cutting-edge scientific issue in this century. Owing to the limitations of biological experiments on the human brain, the researchers put the research into the brains of non-human primates. Compared with other species, primates have high similarity in brains, and the research results can be popularized among species. This paper reviews the progress of research on the homologous brain regions of humans and macaques in brain research by retrieving. Collect and sorting out various articles about brain maps published, and screening out atlases suitable for the study of human monkey brain homology. According to the research methods adopted, the brain regions mentioned in the cross-species comparative study were screened, and 25 pairs of human and macaque brain homology regions were summarized with respect to their homology relationships and labelling maps. It could help researchers explore the brain working pattern.
