Las redes clásica y romántica. Intersecciones dinámicas en el Río de la Plata

Abstract

The so-called Neoclassical and Romantic from the Río de la Plata of the first half of the 19th Century wrote, published and developed their projects in a shared cultural space in which they established complex relationships of solidarity and conflict with each other. The aim of this paper is to analyze the links between representatives of both positions within conceptual framework of social networks. Our point of depar-ture is based on theoretical reflections of Michel Bertrand and on the line of work followed by Eugenia Molina, who has identified a «romantic network» and other «classical» in the cultural scene of the time.
