RELATIONS AMONG SOME TESTS FOR EVALUATION OF FLEXIBILITY AND SWIMMING RESULTS AT SWIMMERS WITH DIFFERENT QUALITIES IN 50 AND 100 METERS BUTTERFLY
Abstract
On the sample of 90 cases, swimmers, cadets, youths an seniors in casual training process from swimming clubs in the R. of Macedonia with many years of experience in competing on national and international level, 10 test for evaluation of flexibility and 2 for evaluation of swimming abilities are implemented in order to state the influence of the flexibility on the quality of the swimming results, as well as to answer the question for the part of the selection criteria which counts the domain of flexibility and its place in everyday training process. According to the results that are given by using the regression analysis there are differences at statistically significant partial impacts of flexibility among the swimmers with different qualities, so the number is higher at the most successful swimmers. This also means that the selection model should dirives from the swimmers with high level perfomances, that flexibility has to take place in everyday training process and finally that one of the ways to improve the quality of the results is to improve this motoric skiill.
